Ukrainian soldiers told Nataliya Babeush she had a few minutes to prepare to escape the underground bunker she had called home for more than two months. Babeush and hundreds of others had sought refuge in the enormous complex beneath the Azovstal plant soon after Russia invaded Ukraine in the early hours of February 24 and laid siege to the port city of Mariupol.
