Naturally you have to know your own equipment and your own land. This video is for those who are wondering if their old equipment can pull a no till. I believe most of the HP requirements are looking at the weight of a tractor. The drill is heavy, particularly once loaded, but the horsepower needs is actually quite small. I would suspect a properly equipped M could even pull this from a power standpoint, but weight seemed to be the most important element. I'd recommend at least 6,000lbs, particularly if you have adverse terrain. It does require a healthy hydraulic system to run. Also keep in mind stopping with the weight as well. At the least, I hope it will put some people's concerns to rest if they have older 60ish horsepower tractors. As always, an abundance of caution is critical and not pushing past limits. If something doesn't seem right, don't do it. Be safe out there!
