DONETSK AN AMERICAN GLANCE
8
American Miguel Francis Santiago, the author of ‘Crimea for Dummies’, went to Donbass in 2014 to learn about the fighting. At the beginning of the conflict, he joined our film crew to see the bomb shelter at the Donbass Opera House and the city’s devastated airport. On their way, they talked to locals who didn’t want to live under Ukrainian power anymore.
Watch how the American covered the beginning of the Donbass conflict in the film Donetsk: An American Glance.
