Jesus told his disciples he is going into the heart of the earth for 3 days in Matthew 12

We are told in scripture this is Sheol, where the dead go in the OT

Additionally there is a lower level in the earth called Tartarus where fallen angels and spirits are imprisoned by our Lord

Peter informs us Jesus went here to speak or preach to these spirits

We also learn Jesus appeared afterward in the throne room of Heaven as sacrificial lamb, high priest & king simultaneously, depositing His blood in the mercy seat of His father
