Dr. Bergersen received his DDS and MSD from Northwestern University Dental School and is a Board-Certified Orthodontist. He taught at Northwestern University Post Graduate Department of Orthodontics for 24 years, as well as practicing orthodontics for 35 years. He developed the only preventive orthodontic appliance for use in the 5 to 7-year-old child. In addition to the Nite-Guide appliance, He has developed other appliances for patients of all ages. These appliances have been used on over 2 million patients worldwide, and he currently he holds over 400 U.S. and foreign patents. Dr. Bergersen has lectured worldwide, has given over 100 seminars, and has been a research advisor and lecturer at several universities.
