2021 Canadian govt goes full retard with broad cast bill c-10

This will be the end for a lot of canadian content creators that wont be able to afford a broad cast liscence nor the rules and insurance to braodcast or show there vidoes

Global News contacted YouTube, Facebook and Instagram to ask whether the latest change to the bill could force them out of the Canadian market. The companies did not directly answer that question.

“This potentially extends CRTC regulation to all audio and audio-visual content on the internet, which has profound implications for not just social media, but virtually all websites, podcasting, online hosting and much more.”

The company said YouTube remains “concerned” about the “unintended consequences” of the bill.

It means that if your monetized or as hte law says an affiliate then you are not exempted form said law.

The fine for first offence is 25000 per day of non compliance
2nd offence is 50000/day non compliance

Note you do not see any youtubers talking of this and are keeping htere heads up there arses and in the sand.
