Reactive Split Stance Jumps
A progression of the regular double leg reactive jumps, a plyometric exercise for those that are ready and have done the necessary training to get here.
Most times in sport we are unable to get our feet directly side-by-side underneath our body and take off/land with one foot in front of the other (ie. some spike approaches and situations with quick transitions from landing to jumping).
Consistent use of this will develop a stronger, more reactive action in these athletic positions.
Like all plyometrics, if the quality diminishes (ie. explosiveness and/or technique), stop the set.
This is an older video and looking at it now I see some technical issues. Torso can be more vertical and landing can be a lot better. Both for better production of force and safer/better training.
