Upland hunting September 2021. Hard hunt in the heat. Finally got the upper hand on a covey of huns as I understood my dog's body language and level of birdiness. Basically figured out birds were within feet. Sat him behind me; covey flushed, shot 2 to my right and then 2 to my left. Took the phone out for the last two. Jäger found all 4 and I never moved from where I shot. Proud of his work! This was our best upland hunt to (that) date and largest bag.
