BlindSight Book Review - scifi with vampires

Tonight's book review is of the SciFi suspense novel "BlindSight" by Peter Watts. Complete with vampires and tech talk, its non-linear format requires a contemplative reader who's ready for deep concepts. I fully forgot to mention the "Heaven" virtual reality/upload concept, which we really ought to discuss in the comments below in light of the metaverse and the corporations wanting to sell us packages whereby we give them TONS of our data so they can create "us" for our loved ones after we're dead and gone. (Because that's not rife with potential for mis-management or manipulation.)
