Van Halen tribute, VH3, Wemindji, Quebec, Aug. 4, 2004, Steve Burk

This was an amazing experience! This was my ( Steve Burk) third version of my Tribute to Van Halen, with Scott, Mark n' Dave. We performed on an Indian reserve called Wemindji. Cree Nation. Quebec, Canada. Aug. 4, 2004. Feels like it was just yesterday.
Other tribute acts at this event was a great Beyonce and Avril tribute.
See the natives cook Canadian Geese over an open fire in a real Tpee! Surprisingly they taste just like Roast beef! No wonder they are banned from being hunted. Unless you are a true native.
It took around 20 hours to drive up there! So beautiful , yes scary, for 9 hours of it was just wilderness, which felt like it was going to swallow you up and eat you after about 4 hours of driving through it .
