In this video we look at a simple way of deepening your understanding of the houses in your birth chart - the two dimensional symbolic representations of the departments of your life. "Houses" have an interior psychological component, and an externalized, physical component.

What are the states of consciousness (the beliefs, emotional, mental and psychological attitudes) in the houses of your chart? How do these show up in your external experience? This exercise is meant to bring awareness to your houses as departments of life which YOUR unique consciousness animates and flows through. Not "the" 2nd house, but YOUR 2nd house.

Understanding the houses in this simple manner provides a more grounded and meaningful framework for us to in turn understand the workings of transits as they show where the STATES OF YOUR CONSCIOUSNESS within a certain house (dimension of life experience) are transformed and changed, subject to the influence of a transiting planet and its set of evolutionary aims.

This simple exercise reinforces that it is YOUR unique, particular awareness that animates your chart, and implicitly puts you in touch with your own power to alter the templates of consciousness (the running mental, emotional and psychological programs) that flow into your chart in order to experience these departments of your life in more enriching ways.
