Challenging yourself doesn’t have to mean using heavier weights. 🏋🏼

PROPRIOCEPTION is a big, fancy word that’s all about “coordination on unstable surfaces.”

Here I used a bosu ball to make an “easy” lever a little harder. I could do the same thing with a lunge, squat, or even a push-up. 💪🏼

No bosu ball around? Doing a single-leg skill also helps improve your balance and coordination.

Try single-leg RDLs, backward lunge to single-leg balance, or skaters. You’ll notice you need LESS weight to make the movement challenging.

Make practice HARDER than the game. You’ll feel a lot more stable when you’re pushing back opponents, gripping the beam, or steadying yourself for the shot. 🏀
