TRAIN 10 MINUTES A DAY AND BECOME A FIXED-BAR MONSTER - BENEFITS
You may have seen people in gyms or other places exercising on fixed bars. This practice is called Pullup, a functional training modality that brings a number of benefits to the body and works the muscles of the arms, shoulders, and back.
In general terms, the Pullup is a movement exercise, done by lifting the body with the help of the arms. All you need is your weight and a fixed bar. Resistance bands can also help if you are a beginner.
Benefits of the Pullup
Among the main benefits that Pullup adds to the body is that it highlights muscle strengthening. This is because the exercise especially works the forearms, biceps, shoulders, and the upper and lower back muscles. Besides strength, the modality also promotes mobility, coordination, and body control.
First you have to find out how many repetitions you are capable of doing on the fixed bar. This is important because this is the number that will define your workout, since you will start doing about 30% of this mark.
Start your stopwatch and every one (1) minute do the maximum 30% of bars you are capable of. Suppose you are able to do six (6) bars consecutively in a correct manner; then every minute you will do two (2) repetitions on the fixed bar.
This workout lasts only ten (10) minutes, and following the above example you will do eleven (11) sets of two (2) repetitions (approximately 33% of the maximum load).
Of course we are talking about a workout that lasts an average of 7 to 10 days, and adaptations will be necessary later, according to your evolution.
Remember that in the beginning it will not be easy, but if you do 10 minutes of fixed barbell separated in series every day, you will become a monster on the fixed barbell and the benefits that your body will obtain will be incredible.
