W&R Alona Beach, Bohol Island Philippines

We visited Alona Beach on Bohol Island in the Philippines. Our journey to Alona Beach was rewarded with fire dancing, scuba diving, day drinking and of course some night life. This chill part of Bohol Island is a very special part of the Philippines and well worth the side excursion. We flew Cebu Pacific from Manila into the relatively brand new TAG airport. Fast 45 minute flight and very economical at just $89.00 round trip. Highlights of our trip included a few late nights at Aluna Beach Bar and some great grilled seafood from several of the restaurants / vendors located along Alona Beach.

If you are looking for a slow paced and chill little beach town. This could be your spot.
