Dallas Cowboys roster projections are tricky this year. There’s depth on the roster, some key training camp battles and confusion on who will and will not be in contention for the roster at the beginning of the season. Cowboys Report host Tom Downey breaks down his roster projections, some surprise Cowboys cut candidates and has a practice squad projection as well.

The Cowboys 2022 roster has some major battles at key positions when it comes to figuring out who makes the team. Now injuries and suspensions will eliminate some options, but even with the extra practice squad spots, there might be too many options (a good issue to have).
