Q. Why Did God Choose Israel? It was His sovereign purpose.

Isaiah 45:5

Deut 9:6-7

It has nothing to do with merit
It has nothing to do with being the largest, most powerful
It has nothing to do with knowing who God was
It has nothing to do with their righteousness, they stiff-necked and rebellious.

He chose them be cause He chose them.

God does not save us because we deserve it, He saves us because He loves us.

God Makes A Path For The Nation Of Israel

There Are Two Prophesies Concerning Israel and The End Times:

1) The Return of Israel To Their Land

In 1948, 650,000 Jews returned to Israel, By 2065 there will be an estimated 20 million in population in Israel.

Ezekiel 36:24, 26-28

2) The Receiving Of The Messiah

Zechariah 12:10

Romans 11:26-27

Q. Why Does This Matter?

Without the existence of Israel, there is no way we can claim that we are living in the last days.

Israel right now is an Island unto them selves.

They have roughly 9 million people while surrounded by 300 million enemies. I personally believe that the fulfillment of Israel becoming a nation is the greatest most significant sign we have.
