We predicted the demise of the Los Angeles Lakers about six weeks ago...and have watched it develop since the injury of LeBron James in late March. After the injury...we thought the Lakers would freefall in the Western Conference standings...and LeBron James would be rushed back prematurely to save their season.

That's exactly what has happened...and LeBron is now once again on the shelf. If the Lakers can't get him back 100% healthy in time for the playoffs...this team has no chance of making it out of the Western Conference.
