היום במירון, אדם נשען על אחד מעמודי ההגברה שמוצבים במירון לקראת ההילולא, והעמוד נפל, שוטרים שהיו במקום עצרו אותו באלימות ופונה לבית החולים רמב"ם עם שברים בראש באמצעות מסוק.
