After finding the peach ice cream recipe in my Great-Grandmother's 1913 cookbook and finding it so simple yet delicious, I wanted to try some variations. How to make luscious strawberry ice cream was the result of my experimenting. I love that no special equipment is needed and it is so fast to make. Strawberries are one of my favorite fruit. I can add them to just about anything and know I will like it. Since I often have cream from my sister's dairy I was bound to try this combination eventually. The burst of fresh strawberry flavor in each bite with the smooth cream is just amazing.
