The two most popular cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin and Ethereum, are fighting for the future.

Who will emerge victorious? Bitcoin is the first and most valuable decentralized cryptocurrency, with a market cap of over $700 billion.

Bitcoin is estimated to be owned by 46 million Americans now. In addition, a number of public companies, hedge funds, and institutional investors have invested. Furthermore, countries have now adopted Bitcoin as their official currency, and numerous towns are mining Bitcoin and issuing coins on the blockchain.

However, many individuals believe Ethereum is the way of the future. They argue that Ethereum is the superior crypto-asset because its blockchain is more advanced and scalable than Bitcoin's.

Ashton disagrees. Bitcoin is digital gold, and it cannot be controlled by anybody or any company, unlike Ethereum or any other government-backed fiat currency.

Bitcoin's supply is likewise capped, whereas Ethereum's is not. Government-backed currencies are rapidly growing their supply, causing inflation and robbing ordinary citizens of their money.

While Bitcoin's price is erratic, it has the ability to preserve wealth, provide property rights, and promote liberty for people all around the world.
