We used pallets to make a kidding stall for our Nigerian Dwarf goats! This was a major upgrade for our dairy goat barn and using pallets made this project really simple and very inexpensive. This stall will give our does a little private space to make the birthing process as pleasant as possible. Subscribe to our channel so you see our baby goats as soon as they’re born!

Megan came up with the idea to use pallets to section off part of our barn and make a kidding stall, where we’ll put our does when they’re about to begin labor. Giving the moms a space of their own will help keep them comfortable during the birthing process and will give mom and kids a more private area to bond during those crucial moments after birth.

Violet will be the first goat at our farm to test the new stall out. She’s on her fourth kidding now and she’s been a great mom the first three times so we are hopeful for another successful, stress-free birth.
