Baby geese hatching DIY nest box

May 2021 Finally! PART 1 of 2 of our Canada geese hatching the first ever clutch of eggs from our DIY floating nesting box/floating nest platform, and we were able to capture the whole thing up close and personal with our nest camera, a Reolonk Argus Eco wireless camera! Join us for the fun and some tense moments during this process as the eggs start hatching and mother goose starts communicating with them. They start peeping even before they hatch from the eggs. Then after the clutch hatches, the mother goose and father goose try coaxing them off of the next and into our farm pond, but after 2 days they still don't want to leave the nest! That is where PART 2 will continue the story of our first ever wild goose or waterfowl hatching family! This is all happening on our farm pond from our Southern Illinois farm. We really enjoy wildlife, wildlife conservation, wildlife photography and more. We've had several pair of nesting Canada Geese over the last few years but predators constantly raided their nest. So a couple of years ago Mrs. Kapper built this DIY floating nest platform to try to give them a better chance of actually hatchings some eggs before predators got them. This is our first success! Thanks for joining us, and if you enjoy this video please hit the like button and share it for us on social media, we really appreciate that! Thank you. Stay tuned for Part 2. Kapper Outdoors, living (and sharing) the dream, one acre at a time.
