On Friday May 7th; Ingenuity departed the Wright Brothers Field on its first ever one way flight. This flight marks the end of Ingenuity's original mission objective.

Due to how well Ingenuity is performing, JPL has now planned a second mission with new objectives, these will take place over the coming months, as Ingenuity will follow Perseverance as it begins its exploration.
