Megan Reilly Request Answers Of North Kingstown, RI School Commitee Over Hiring Practices

Megan Reilly questions whether the new interim superintendent, Miss Cipella, has already been working in the school system and if so, why her approval was given by the school committee tonight (5-10-22) to start July 1st.

Megan questions the need to pay interim superintendent Michael Waterman $600 a day for extra duties when he is getting extra assistance from Miss Cipella. Also, why is Mary King still on staff when her replacement is already in the field?

There is a petition circulating in the North Kingstown/Jamestown districts to remove the school committee from the discussion to find the next superintendent/assistant. The lack of trust stems from a plethora of issues with the most recent naked fat body tests scandal.
