Kentucky Farmhouse Rehab project update & DIY window shutter installation

Sharon here and I'm finally getting a chance to put up my DIY Cedar Shutters! After a final and much needed siding wash with the pressure washer, the exterior of the little Western Kentucky farmhouse gets a fresh, crisp new look and a pop of country blue color! Wow what a difference! I continue working on the porch stairs railing using scrap lumber and make a simple yet effective stair railing that will add stability and beauty to the rest of the renovated front porch. A little dry weather and some paint and it will be a complete transformation from the weathered split stairs and rails that were there.
