Sunday Longplay - Zelda 2: End of Day (NES ROM Hack)

This week on Sunday Longplay, it's another ROM hack for one of my favorite NES games of all time in honor of its franchise's 35th anniversary. Welcome to Zelda 2: End of Day!

This hack creates a brand-new overworld for the land of Hyrule as well as new overworld battle scenes, new palaces that actually get quite massive in the endgame, bigger areas, and a level of challenge that's still harder than the base Zelda 2 game but more accessible than other hacks like Journey of a Day or Winter Solstice. The secrets are not terribly hard to find, though the later palaces can be kind of cryptic. Overall, highly recommended!
