National curriculum has a bit of 'reading, writing and wokeness'

Chris Kenny says the final version of the national curriculum mightn’t have been much better as it involves a bit of “reading, writing and wokeness”.
“We've been saying for years ... that the national school curriculum needs to be put in the shredder in favour of a back-to-basics model,” Mr Kenny said.
“Students will be taught about their "eco-identity", whatever that is, and the virtues of a vegetarian diet, including eating kangaroo - that’s not really vegetarian, is it? - to cut down on emissions.”
