IL TEMPIO DELLE CLESSIDRE, IL TEMPIO DELLE CRESSIDE (2010)

IL TEMPIO DELLE CLESSIDRE is an Italian late-progressive rock band, whose style is inspired by the sound of the seventies trying to recreate it with a typically Italian taste for melody in a contemporary approach. Great attention is paid to the integration between music and lyrics, with particular reference to the emotional sphere, nature and tradition.

The band was formed in 2006 from an idea by Genoese keyboardist Elisa Montaldo, who came into contact with Stefano "Lupo" Galifi, singer of the Museo Rosenbach's album Zarathustra, considered a masterpiece of the genre. After completing the lineup, they performed the entire Museo album live and began writing their own compositions.

In 2010, they debuted with an eponymous album and, in 2013, with the new singer Francesco Ciapica, released their second album, Alienatura.

In 2017, they released their third studio album, Il-lûdĕre, featuring songs that alternate a strong rock character and a closer perception of the soundtrack or traditional musical atmospheres, maintaining the richness of the arrangements and the depth of the themes that, since the beginning, characterized the band.

IL TEMPIO DELLE CLESSIDRE é uma banda de rock tardo-progressiva italiana, cujo estilo se inspira na sonoridade dos anos setenta, procurando recriá-lo com um gosto tipicamente italiano pela melodia em uma abordagem contemporânea. É dada grande atenção à integração entre a música e a letra, com uma particular referência à esfera emocional, à natureza e à tradição.

Foi formada em 2006 a partir de uma ideia da tecladista genovesa Elisa Montaldo, que entrou em contato com Stefano "Lupo" Galifi, cantor do álbum Zarathustra do Museo Rosenbach, considerado uma obra-prima do gênero. Depois de completar a formação, ela tocou ao vivo todo o álbum do Museo e começou a escrever suas próprias composições.

Em 2010 estreou com um álbum homônimo e, em 2013, já com o novo vocalista Francesco Ciapica, lançou o seu segundo álbum, Alienatura.

Em 2017 lançou seu terceiro álbum de estúdio, Il-lûdĕre, apresentando canções que alternam um forte caráter de rock e uma percepção mais próxima à trilha sonora ou a atmosferas musicais tradicionais, mantendo a riqueza dos arranjos e a profundidade do os temas que, desde o início, a caracterizaram.
