Amy Hill Interviews Barbara Arthur, (R) Congressional Candidate For SC District 7

Amy Hill recently traveled to beautiful Kalmia Gardens in Hartsville, S.C. to interview Barbara Arthur. Arthur has decided to run for Congress, House District 7, in the upcoming general election, a seat currently held by Tom Rice.

Barbara Arthur was born in communist Cuba. In 1969, she and half of her family came to the US on President Lyndon Johnson’s Freedom Flights. She is married to former State Representative, Warren Arthur, and they will celebrate 24 years of marriage this August. They have a blended family of eight children and seven grandchildren. Barbara’s a homeschool veteran of fifteen years. She graduated her youngest child this past May.

Barbara has served as a Christian women’s speaker for the past 24 years. She has spoken in churches from Montana to South Florida. She and her husband own a small insurance business, and she is a licensed insurance agent. Barbara has never had political ambition, but believes the crisis in America demands that she run.
