Simone Biles Olympics-A Taste Of Equity

Recently, arguably the best gymnast in the history of the world, felt the sting of equity when her routines were scored far lower than they deserved, in an effort to make the other gymnasts feel included, even though her skills far surpassed theirs.
Then, last week, during a team competition, it seems the realization that she would never be fairly judged in the name of equity, finalll caught up with her. She dropped out of the team competition mysteriously, and we later learned it was to deal with her "mental wellness" and was not, as first reported, due to an injury. What do you think happened? Well, here's what I think. And I believe the evidence is pretty clear. Fulfilling the absurd agenda of equal outcomes punishes the best of the best, and stifles progress; regardless of whether it is in the Olympics or the Marketplace of Ideas, or the day jobs of hundreds of millions of Americans.
