Shannon Wendt and her husband Karl have been loved members of their surrounding community in Missouri where they teach college, write books, conduct seminars, act in local theatre, do a bit of T.V. and radio, and really enjoy being married. They created the "Still The One" seminars over a decade ago, to equip and inspire couples for exceptional relationships. Their new format offers an exciting opportunity to laugh, grow, and discover Biblical secrets to amazing love. Shannon has her Master's in Theatre and Speech Communication. She is a board member at Stone's Throw Dinner Theater. Shannon is currently completing her requirements to be on Directing Staff at Joplin Little Theater. She has participated in and trained students for individual events and dual competitions, and facilitates weeklong theater camps for 10th-12th graders. Shannon has directed productions for five different community and collegiate theaters. She has been the recipient winner of multiple acting, directing, set design awards from various local community theaters, and has 25 years of acting and directing experience. Shannon Wendt formerly was the director of the Connection Institute with LifeChoices Medical Clinic for Women in Joplin, Missouri, where she trained presenters to go into local schools and teach an abstinence-only sex-ed program, called "Virtuous Reality: Love Education." Shannon and her husband wrote a book entitled "I Want to Talk with My Teen About Love, Sex, and Dating published in 2006 on Amazon.
