Naturally Inspired Aquarium to Water Your Plants!

A peek in the life of the Aquarium here at Andrew's Home Grown. Going in to get my aquarium water tested to get a better idea of what is really happening in the aquarium.

The Aquarium's soil base is composed of compost with small stones on top. There are three primary plant varieties in the tank. I'd have to look them up and I'm feeling lazy. I think one is duckweed, at the top, one is hornwort (sp), and the long grass I can't recall.
I occasionally toss in worms, teaspoons of fresh compost, and scrap vegetables and fruit, but not much.
There are 4 Cory Julii catfish, 2 guppies, possibly hundreds of cherry shrimp (they are breeding like crazy), hundreds of snails, 1 clam, and a cap full of just about every commercial microbial inoculate available at garden centers and grow stores.
All to maintain a diverse, self sustaining ecosystem which constantly renews the beneficial organisms and acts as a source of nutrients for use in my indoor and outdoor gardens.

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, leave them in the comment section down below and I will be sure to get to them as I am able!

The first 5 people to like, share, and subscribe will given a free 6 count sample pack of seeds of their choosing from my online shop! Thanks for the support and as always, thanks for watching!
