Episode 1 | Grand Bazaar | Spice Market | Walking Tour | Istanbul, Turkey 2021 Travel

Welcome to Istanbul!

We have arrived to Istanbul from Albania. We stayed in a few places in Istanbul for about a week before finally heading off by car around Turkey.

In this video is our first impressions while walking aroud Taksim, the Grand Bazaar, walking the Spice Market and places along the way.

We highlight our usual breakfast and Julia gets Starbuck's coffee after an abstance.

While in Turkey, we did have to show a negative test along with using the governments HES code a few times. Mostly not a incovience at all. Just have it available for scan.

The country had restrictions for its Turkish citizens, but tourists were not bound to the restrictions. This meant going out past 9:00pm and on the weekends were allowed for tourists.

While masks were required, police and stores would ask you to use them if you have forgot or if the mask fell below your nose. No harrasment of any kind from what I witnessed.
