Gas Shortage Tip: Conservation!!

The Colonial Gas ransomware hack is so full of teaching moments that I felt I had to get up here and talk about preparedness and common sense. Now, to be prepared does not mean to be running to and fro when the media government complex tells you to!

Colonial Gas is going to recover from this. Gas is going to flow fully in the very near future. This is not a situation that we should consider SHTF and particularly not for the long term. Thanks to the media the people around you will make it look like SHTF. PANIC is not PREPARED!

Being a prepper, survivalist, or whatever you are in your journey should keep you from the chaos and keep you from fear. This is how I measure my own success! Am I forced into chaos? Am I forced to wade through civil unrest? Of course, I may decide to go witness the chaos. I am here to experience this life, too! We are not to hide from it all but the goal is to never be forced into it.

As a prepper and an outdoorsmen there is one word that will get you through the next week or 2 of shortages: CONSERVATION. You see, conservation is a forgotten method of preparedness. SIT! Stay home for a week. If your tank is full and you don't have a massive commute, you are going to survive this without issue.
