The glass frog

The glass frog is distinguished not only by its unusual appearance - it has transparent skin and all sorts of organs are visible (and sometimes the bones are green), but also by its behavior. Male reticulated glass frogs heroically guard the clutches made by the females, protecting the eggs from insects and dehydration. What the females do after spawning is unknown.
