Arabic Belly-Dance Instrumental : Raqset el Hawanem

Raqset el Hawanem (Women Dance) is a well known popular dance song played all over the Middle-East and Turkey. Here my own transcription and arrangement featuring the Oud and the Saz plus various percussion with the Darbouka in the foreground. After the song is played in full, together with an improvised intermede with the Oud in the traditional Taqsim rubato style, I've added a passage where the Central Asian lute Cura and the Indian clay-pot Ghatam create an Indian/Tribal atmosphere to bring variety and enliven the dance performance.
