Zelenskyy honours bomb-sniffing dog credited for locating more than 250 explosive devices

Patron, an expert bomb finder and perhaps Ukraine's smallest fighter, has been honored by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Patron has helped destroy 262 explosive devices left by Russian troops in Chernihiv alongside the demining unit, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

When the demining unit reaches a site with an open wooded area, the dog can be seen running, barking alongside his handler, before scratching at the ground.
