This weeks episode features Devon and Tanya Williams, the creators of the No Nonsense Curriculum at the Courage Curriculum Academy

Tanya Williams served in the United States Navy for over 10 years as a culinary specialist.  She successfully trained 3750 culinary students in the basics of food preparation and effectively motivated students toward self-improvement.  Tanya later became the owner and operator of Williams Family Child Care with ages ranging from infant-junior high. 
 As an extended childcare program site supervisor, she created developmentally appropriate lesson plans to support children's emotional and social development.
Most of her years has been spent as Director of Children Ministry where she implemented and maintained a fun, healthy, safe educational environment for children, parents, and staff.  While serving as director, she developed and implemented age-appropriate curriculum for children, ages 6 weeks-12 years, recruited and trained 30 teachers and volunteers.                                                                                 
Her love for children and Christian education lead her to become a substitute teacher.  Over the past years she begun to see the decline in education in America and felt the leading from God to open a principle approach Christian school.
 
Pastor DeVon Williams
DeVon first felt the call of God on his life at the age of 13. His mother, Pastor Eunice Williams, was instrumental in his spiritual heritage.   DeVon understood at a very early age that his voice would be for the nations, to deliver the message of God’s Truth to the people, a message of hope. 
 At age 19, he became an ordained minister in South Carolina where he was born and raised. Later that year, he joined the U.S. Navy where he started his first ministry aboard the USS HORNE. During this time, he had the privilege of preaching salvation to the lost and to see lives changed by the power of God in countries all over the world.
After leaving the US Navy, He settled in San Diego, California, where he served as an assistant pastor for his local church. He married his wife Tanya in 1990, and together they have four wonderful children as well as 8 wonderful grandchildren. 
DeVon & Tanya Williams are the lead Pastors of Relentless Church San Diego and have served in the fivefold ministry for over 16 years.
