Born Again into Eternal Life

Jesus and Nicodemus were discussing God's kingdom. Nicodemus was a Pharisee who was known to be an expert in "the traditions of the fathers". They believed in resurrection and the afterlife. Jesus spoke of the Pharisees as hypocrites many times. Here is a chapter from the Book of Matthew where Jesus speaks with the Pharisees (link https://www.bible.com/bible/1/MAT.23.KJV ). Nicodemus recognised something special in Jesus, as being a teacher who has come from God, by calling Him - 'rabbi' as testified in the Book of John Chapter 3:1-2. Jesus shared the truth with Nicodemus about entering Gods kingdom. How every man, woman and child needs to be born of water and of the Spirit. This is known as being born again (reborn) when you are baptised through water to cleanse you of all sin and to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. When you ask Jesus into your life, with a sincere heart, truly things will change. This can only happen when you are true of heart and God knows those who are and who are not of true heart. When the gift of the Holy Spirit comes to you the Bible becomes a living book. Also known as The Word, the Bible has continued to help people for thousands of years - how could that be so? Well ! If God inspired the Prophets to write and the Apostles to have recorded testimonies don't you think just maybe He helped The Word get through all those years and has now landed here on this page where you are reading. If you are not born again then I would say you have/had family or friends praying for you. That is how graceous God is to all and how faithful He is to promises already spoken.

The example we see from the Pharisees in the timeline with Jesus are worth noting as we can today also look and find many people with a like manor. Many of whom are very wealthy and no doubt portray a life of well doing on the outside when living a very different life out of public view.
