Very little is known about YAMA AND THE KARMA DUSTERS. This Chicago band released just one album, in 1971. UP FROM THE SEWERS is politically charged, featuring excellent folk-rock and psychedelic rhythms. It was formed by Howard Berkman (vocals, guitar, mandolin), Marion L. Favors (percussion), Jerry Field (violin), Alan Goldberg (drums), Dick Larson (piano), Karen Manter (keyboards), Neal Pollack (bass) ) and Jack Sullivan (bass).
