Am I Wrong? CUSTOMER DEMANDS IT FOR FREE!

It never feels good when you lose a customer... But what if that customer DEMANDS #FREE SERVICES?! Do you acquiesce to keep them? Or do you stick to your policies and firmly yet professionally lay down the law?

I stuck to my policies for charging extra because this former customer wanted me to blow off his back patio and driveway for free. And I quote, 'I don’t expect to be charged extra as this is usually included in most lawn services.' Yeah, sure it is! Look, I clean up the mess I make. But when a #customer demands I blow off additional areas around their property, I have to charge for that. It costs me more fuel and time when I bid these jobs for specific services!
