UPDATE EDIT:
Forget some stuff i said down below. Lilith is however a good enemy to get "Silver Apples" from, if you have equipped "Treasure Hunter" augment (i pick Edge for that). I would also equip Gil Farmer" augment on all three party members that you added it too. To get most money as possible. But the way to get easy money for more sirens. Is really to kill "Armored Fiend" enemy, he is on 2nd floor of "Lair of the Father" on the moon. He basically drops axes that has lot of gil selling value. So if you run short on money for Sirens. My suggestion is use 50 sirens on that enemy, get the amount of axes you need. Sell it and buy Sirens, and then just continue to go to "Mount of Ordeals" on "Crossing" area. Use Sirens there, and just get lots of Silver Apples. So hope it helps!

Old info down below!

----

As shown in the beginning of the video. Lillith enemy has 14% drop rate of silver apples. Meaning its the best enemy to get it from. But it still takes a little while. Maybe about 10 battles or something, and using Sirens makes it come faster. The enemy can be found on Mountain of Ordeals, at 2nd top or top of the mountain by using Sirens or randomly get into battles. But i recommend Sirens and here is why. Even if you run out of money to buy Sirens, you can get more this way.

Also remember, use the gil farmer augment (if you have it) to get more money too.

Go to underworld, and run back and forth close to Tokkul area. There you can randomly fight "Alraune" enemy which has chances of dropping Sirens mainly or the Yellow Dragons you fight there, Yellow and Green dragons also has 5% chance of dropping silver apples. So to me. This is best way to grind for silver apples. Either when you run out of Sirens or money, then to get more sirens, money and perhaps Silver Apples, then grinding near Tokkul is alternative, til you can get more money for Sirens on the Mount of Ordeal. So those 2 places is where i recommend to mainly grind. Mostly Mount of Ordeal, but if you are broke then Underworld Tokkul area is where to go.

Hope this guide helped you!

Also fyi, the rest of the video is just me trying to check if Mount Hobs had anything... So forget that recording :P
