There are four subpopulations of the chimpanzee — the western chimp, the Nigeria-Cameroon chimp, the focal chimp, and the eastern chimp. This incredible chimp is perhaps our nearest relative, sharing around 98% of their qualities with us. They have heavy bodies with short legs, opposable thumbs, no tails, and long arms that are 1.5 times their level that stretches out past their knees. A lot of their body is covered with long dark hair, yet the face, ears, fingers, and toes are exposed.
