BFGC - May 8, 2022 Heart of God

King David is a major character in God's Plan for mankind, which is what we call God's Word, or the Bible. Yehovah selected a young shepherd boy and raised him up to be a kingly shepherd for the Hebrew nation. God tells us that David was a humble, obedient, faithful servant, that was quick to repent and follow the instructions of Yehovah. He wasn't a perfect man and he made some major mistakes during his life, but God was pleased with him and blessed his reign as King of Judah. Yeshua will always be called a Son of David and will rule with authority as a King of Israel, because of the life and obedience of King David.
