🇬🇧🇺🇦 NATO attempts to take Snake Island?

Rybar intel reports that the MoD confirmed the destruction of Ukrainian Su-24 & Su-27 bombers, 3 x Mi-8 helicopters and 2 x Bayraktar-SB2 UAVs near Snake Island.

Ukraine declared that Russian warship Admiral Makarov was destroyed - which Arestovich has refuted.

Prior to this, Ukraine & NATO allies partially disabled the Russian Tor air defense system on Snake Island (❗️) Ukraine then attempted their unsuccessful raid.

▪️Bayraktar UAVs are working the area daily. Ukraine's Mi-8 helicopters are in Odessa ready to transfer personnel on command.

▪️US M777 howitzers with 155-mm M982 Excalibur guided missiles are deployed in Zatoka area. They would have to work at their maximum range - 60 km.

▪️Reconnaissance is provided by US aircraft.

Snake Island 🐍

This land is strategically important for a naval operation, due to its location near Odessa. Russian forces took it on 24 February. It is small (pictured), hence rumors of Ukrainian control are easily debunked.
