Holy, Holy, Holy. A Capella cover by Peter I. LaLande

This week's A Capella hymn is an old time favorite, Holy, Holy, Holy. The lyrics were written by Reginald Heber. The hymn was written in the early 1800s during Heber's time as vicar (1807–1823) in Hodnet, Shropshire, England, a period in which the author was prolific, writing more than 100 hymns, many having survived till now. This is one of the most profound pieces of music I have ever heard, this is in fact the first hymn I remember singing as a child.
