But God... Part 13 | "All is Grace" | Tullian Tchividjian

This is Part 13 (and the conclusion) in a series of messages from Ephesians Tullian has entitled “But God…”

In this message —"All is Grace”— Tullian goes back to Ephesians 2:1-10 to look at the two words “But God…” in order to show how those words really do capture the main theme of Christianity as a whole.

“But God” suggests that imperfection, unfinishedness, and messiness are God’s cup of tea. Those two words reveal that real Christianity deals in the back-alleys of life, the dark corners of our guilt, the not-enoughness of our insecurities, and the faithlessness of our fears. Those two words make it clear that God doesn’t run away from our sins, he meets us in them.

Robert Capon wrote, “Instead of standing at some antiseptic distance from our agonies and failures, he comes to meet us in the very thick of them.”

We hope this message encourages you!
