Originally recorded on May 16 2016.

The AMR 33 or Automitrailleuse de Reconnaissance Renault Modèle 1933
was a French cavalry light tank developed in 1932.
To counter the threat posed by the massive Soviet
arms build-up since 1928.
The vehicle was intended to form a large mass of light tanks.

The AMR 33 was a fast, (especially fast for it's time)
lightly armed and armoured
it proved to be a mechanically unreliable vehicle,
especially its suspension elements being too weak.

Event due its speed and the name having Reconnaissance in it
the AMR33 was not a scout vehicle and did not even have a radio.
