Instagram has been experimenting with non-destructive fractional finance (NFT). The pilot will be limited to a restricted group of NFT aficionados in the United States. Rumor has said that Facebook will include minting and group membership later this year. Meta is also rumored to be planning the creation of a virtual currency called Zuck Bucks.
