Overnight Hike & Cook with Float Tube Fishing at Lake Keechelus

After being redirected by a massive snow bank we ended up unable to reach Cottonwood Lake and settled in right on the freeway at Lake Keechelus. The only thing louder than the freeway were the two F-18s that flew right over us 3 times. We filtered fresh water from the creek, foraged for Devil’s club, and fished on our float tubes. In the event we didn’t get on any fish we brought some emergency rations. Did we need them? Watch and see. Enjoy!
